Too much hospital
Oct. 1st, 2009 11:19 pmSo, 4 weeks ago to the day my mom was in hospital and had 3 cardioversions... Today she had 2 again (plus 1 chemical before that but it didn't work).
Mom calls me during class. I tell the teacher I have to take this call so I go outside to talk to mom. She's going to the hospital with my sister and her bf. Tells me not to worry and to just do my things and not rush. I had an appointment with a classmate to videotape something for school in Raalte. I go back to the classroom and say I have to go. I go to Raalte early and then head to the hospital. I was lucky there was an extra bus that made me catch an earlier train so I was there 30 minutes earlier than expected.
Mom was already getting the chemical cardioversion then. It's just a high dose of medication, but it didn't work (it did work for the guy behind the next curtain). So lots of waiting but then she got the electric cardioversion like before. The first one it worked but the anestesiologist turned his back and it went wrong again. So they gave her a second one and then it stayed the way it should. An hour later she could go home.
She came in at 15:15 and was released at 22:40 or so. Looong day. Tomorrow morning San has a second interview for a job (9:00 in Enschede @_@) and she's now sowing her pants.. At 23:30... :p I have a symposium at school tomorrow, but I won't have to get up at 6:30 like she does.
Time for sleepytime..... zzzzzzzzzz
