Working the evening shift this week (3PM - 10:45PM), I'm liking it better. Better music on the radio and steady work. However, the guys seem more annoying. There are big eastern european guys asking to come home with me after work, Carlos asking me for my number and scaring me by grabbing me by the ankle when I walk away and some african guys just saying "hey, how are you doing" with the eye thing. Urgh. I told the big guys my wife wouldn't like me taking them home with me. They don't quite understand, at least they aren't even more interested and asking if they can watch :p I screamed quite loudly when Carlos grabbed my ankle, that scared him :p
Time seems to pass quickly in the evening shift. Ofcourse I don't see San this week. I can barely open my eyes when she leaves in the morning (it's her first week at the new job) and when I come home around midnight we quickly turn off the lights to go to sleep. We call eachother during (lunch)breaks tho, but it's not the same.
My body is getting exhausted. Everytime I get to the storage where I work it's like I never left the place. And sometimes when I'm at home in my head I'm still walking there. My ear/nose/throat area is getting clogged, I had a headache this morning. My left leg hurts, my back was already sore before I started working. So, I'm living on painkillers today :p
It's also weird having dinner for lunch because I can't heat anything up at work. So at work I just eat bread. I'm having pizza in half an hour, walking Rocky at 1 and then take the bus at 1:41. The workbus leaves from the trainstation at 2:20.
As for San's job. She enjoys working again tho she feels it's tiring. Lots of new things coming her way and trying to get settled. The new leasecar arrived yesterday, a black Citroen C1 (5 doors). It's small but cosy and I like Citroen :) We're still deciding on a name for our new car. She also got a mobile phone, laptop and laptop bag. She's being spoiled :p I keep thinking where's the catch, it's almost too good to be true.
Ah wednesday, middle of the week, almost weekend :p
